Here’s How Stream Energy Cares

Stream Energy is a provider of home services and access to commodities like electricity, natural gas, Internet access, and mobile phone service. The company was founded in 2005 and operates its headquarters in Dallas, Texas, the city it was created in by Rob Snyder and Pierre Koshajki some years ago. Currently, the company has more than 250 employees, making it one of the largest such companies in the United States.

Just three months ago, Patch featured an article that covered the good deed Stream Energy most recently executed chosen from its laundry list of similarly major plans, which was creating the Stream Cares Foundation, a philanthropic organization that helps both the people of Dallas and those of its surrounding cities with goods, services, and other support they need.

When the people of Dallas were blindsided by the mass damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, many people were there to help, including those hailing from none other than Stream Energy. With some parts of Houston, a major city and metropolitan area reasonably close to Dallas, receiving nearly five feet of rain, not to mention gale-force winds and being exposed to environmental hazards like nearby chemical supply companies leaking their flammable and otherwise dangerous stock into flooded areas, people trapped in the area were very much in need of the aid of organizations like Stream Energy.

Stream Energy and Stream Cares are also very much worried about the chronic problem of homelessness. Even though the United States of America is unarguably the wealthiest nation on planet Earth – it also has the most active economy, blowing second-place China out of the proverbial waters of economic power – hundreds of thousands of people across the United States are faced with the problem of homelessness.

Recently, Stream Cares hooked up with Hope Supply Company, a philanthropic organization created nearly 30 years ago that is also located in Dallas, not too far away from the Stream Energy campus. Not too long ago, the two companies had joined forces to distribute both monetary assistance and toys for the children of more than 1,000 households, an accomplishment that is nothing short of substantial.
